All is set and now you want to store the data on the Excel Workbooks and when you start the application you discover that after the logo display of Excel, you receive an error message which announces:
“An Error Occurred Initializing VBA Libraries”
Or
“The Timer driver is not installed on this system. Microsoft Excel cannot run without the Timer driver. Choose the help button for more information.”
The VBA libraries contain all the required functions and tools for the VBA objects and for the multimedia applications, the functions to manage them are stored in a module called mmsystem.dll. If this has a wrong entry in the system.ini or is damaged, then it can result in these error messages. So it is always recommended never to disable it so that the essential applications like MS Excel may work properly. It may also happen that you have some of the drivers installed that have modified the entries in the system.ini.
